I believe that tutoring is the perfect supplement to help a person succeed academically. Traditional education can lead learning gaps that a private instructor is more than capable of filling in. I teach students in elementary through college math, Spanish, and geography. I understand that no two people learn in the same way. Explanations and techniques must be suited to the student's learning style and proficiency to ensure the information is full absorbed. I have the skills needed to phrase an explanation in a way that makes sense, whether I need to demonstrate the subject with games or through writing or in an entirely different way. As a tutor, I believe it is important to develop a solid, honest relationship with my students. I am invested in their success, eager to help them succeed in their academic performance while gaining confidence in their skills. I tutor students in a way that focuses on building their skills while working toward achieving their goals. I am patient enough to work through each concept at a pace that allows the student to fully learn the information. In my free time, I love the outdoors and what they have to offer. I play a lot of sports.
